Based in Kilcock, Co. Kildare, the 16th Kildare Scout Group was founded in 1986 and has grown into a thriving community of young people from ages 6 to 26. The group offers full weekly programme for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers at our Den in Kilcock village. Driven by the youth led programming ethos, the group encourage its young members development through outdoor adventure, teamwork and community service. Over 100 youth members participate in weekly meetings, local and national camps, international trips (including to Hungary, Slovakia, Wales, Japan and the Netherlands) and outdoor skills development. By taking part in this Christmas Draw fundraiser, the 16th Kildare Kilcock Scout Group hopes to raise vital funds to support its programme of adventures, equipment upgrades and outreach in the Kilcock area.
